Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm Review

Elemis have launched some fantastic products lately, first was the Cleansing Balm ( review found here) and now comes the launch of their Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm. The balm claims to "Exude health and vitality with this energising skin radiance balm, that instantly brightens and tightens for a smooth, even and luminous complexion.
Formulated with a powerful vitamin complex that helps protect against moisture loss, whilst exquisite purple orchid, noni and acai help defend against the early signs of skin ageing."

Radiance Booster - 89% felt the product helped skin look more radiant ands luminous instantly

Moisturiser - 85% agreed the product helped smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Primer - 91% stated the product helped provide a more even & brighter skin tone.

I found the light texture, cooling and easily absorbed into the skin, instantly hydrating and moisturising. I felt that I didn't need to apply any extra moisturiser to my skin, dryer skin types may need to but my combination skin had just the right amount of moisture. The smell is,like most Elemis products, distinctively perfumed but not in a artificial  way, some may find it overpowering but I find the texture and aroma luxurious and appealing. The balm was easy to massage into skin and did not ball up when applying.
Pro Radiance flash balm used on bare skin, without and then with flash

Once applied to my face the balm left my skin looking dewy, not in a glittery sparkly way, but illuminated and healthy. It didn't feel overly tacky and is the perfect primer and base for make up.  I really like this product,  I can't say that I noticed it tightening my skin but I noticed everything else it claims to do. It's my skin, on a good day! It gives you the complexion that you get from a 2 week holiday (minus the tan), I look fresh faced and rested, I don't know how it does it , but it does!
Worked with make up over the top you can really see the balm at its best....

Balm used under Bourjois Healthy mix foundation, without and with flash.
...As you can see from the photo's, my skin looks dewy, glowing and healthy, the effects also last, keeping my skin nourished and hydrated after a long day at work.

Cost - £32.00 for 50ml from here
Who would I recommend it to? Dry/Normal/Combination skin types. Oily skin types may find it too moisturising and may find their face too shiny and foundation wear time reduced.
Would I re-purchase? Yes
How would I improve it? I would love this to have a built in sunscreen, just because I'm lazy and like the thought of using just one product in the morning.
Thank you for reading
